Information Collection and Use
Local Practice Data: The Japa counts, malas completed, settings, and local custom mantras are stored securely on your local device using an SQLite database. This data stays on your device unless you choose to synchronize it.
Account and Sync Data: If you optionally sign in (via Email or Google), your account details (Name, Email, Google Profile ID) and synchronized practice sessions are securely stored in the Appwrite cloud. This synchronization enables progress recovery across devices.
Anonymized Analytics & Ads: We display non-personalized ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). AdMob may use device identifiers or general geographic locations to serve ads, subject to your tracking permissions.
Data Protection and Deletion
Local Deletion: Logging out of your account or deleting the application will clear all cached local records (sessions, stats, custom mantras, settings) from your device.
Cloud Storage Security: All data synced with Appwrite is encrypted in transit and stored in secure cloud database structures with strict user-level access permissions.
Device Permissions
Our app may request permissions to enhance your practice:
• Media Library: To allow you to pick custom deity images from your photo gallery.
• Haptics/Vibration: To provide tactile feedback when incrementing chant counts.
• Ad Tracking: On iOS, to request permission to serve relevant non-personalized ads.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application settings screen.
